Mabel Kirabo is the Capacity Building Officer based in Kampala, Uganda. She is responsible for the capacity strengthening component of Women First’s program, helping to develop and implement a cohesive, targeted strategy and set of activities for the organization’s grantee partners.     

 She is a Ugandan African feminist and a Gender and Development expert with more than 8 years of programming experience in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mabel has direct hands-on experience managing diverse grant portfolios, providing technical support and capacity strengthening for program and grant partners.

 Mabel is a working mother of two children, and she says that Motherhood is one of the most challenging and yet the most rewarding thing she has ever done.
