Kelsey came to Women First with six years of development experience working for US-based and international nonprofit organizations. She began her career working abroad in Europe before settling in New York City as a nonprofit development consultant. Since then, she has worked for numerous organizations in a communications, operations and development capacity. She has concentrated experience in major gifts, event planning, marketing, corporate sponsorship and appeal writing.

Kelsey earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech with a concentration in sustainability and nonprofit management.  During her undergraduate career, Kelsey lived in New Zealand, Germany and Switzerland, studying with prominent international aid organizations.
